Great race specific bike. Fastest/most stable cornering bike I've ridden (Spec Allez, CAAD 8, CR1 Pro), very stiff laterally, decent road vibe absorption, almost overly twitchy riding sans hands (something you'll get used to...but at first). Geometries keep the front a bit low for casual riders but I've no real complaints.
Oh and get the Al SI cranks...so sweet.

That's your call not mine, compared to the CAAD8 the head tube is roughly a cm shorter (I think) so it depends on your position.
