Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My shoes were mean't to be. Yellow/Red Time's. Originally fellow riders mocked them as too bright. However, the club I later joined up with, it's colors is red/yellow. So they were mean't to be. Perfect match for our red/yellow kit. My second pair is Diadora, blue/silver.

They have new designs now so there are more colors and patterns to choose from... they have a nice gold and solid white shoe so I am sure they would make the solid white and blue too. The guys at D2 are really really nice and fun to deal with...They said if my soles ever feel apart they would replace them for a small fee , 70 buck or something like that.
I do know If my current pair ever break down / get shreaded to the point i can't just have the soles replaced then I would buy a new pair from them in a heart beat. They are light ,exetremely comfortable pair of shoes and fit like a nice pair of cycling socks.

Wow so that's what my shoes will look like in a few years.

Hopefully it won't get that bad, the heel pad has suprisingly stayed on quite nicely. The only wear I'm noticing is at the very front tip of the rubber wrap around the sole from walking. They are located 40 minutes south of my location and it's just a $15 repair job, so I'm not too worried.

Anyway, you should send that pic in to Rocket7, I'm sure Dean would get a kick out of seeing a pair that has seen so much use.

Pimp white.

I occasionally wear a white fur coat, top hat, and cane with these. Makes for an interesting ride, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Gray with flourescent yellow, purple, and aqua blue. I can't believe Sidi was stuck in the 80's in 1992!
