Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you can find out what size of cartridge bearings the mega exo uses why don't you just swap out the bearings. You'll need to find a LBS with a bearing press.

I've bought some loose ceramic bearings from Boca for my hubs, so I can recommend them.

Try Superfly, they have great stuff, really good products, and the shipping is free if over $100. I got their replacement bottom bracket for my megaexo, and then pulleys for my rear derailleur. Both are great.
