Broke Chain

4 week old bike and the chain broke this evening. How common is it for a chain to break? What are the causes? Its a KMC chain.

Was the point of failure the connecting link? It's quite possible the shop made a mistake during assembly.

I can break a chain at will by engaging my massive guads.

i' have a bike from 2005 with the original chain....it's a commuter not a road bike but still the chain lasts pretty long for me so far

u must also weight a ton to be able to put those massive quads to it's full potential
