Ride suggestions in Phoenix-Mesa, AZ?

I will be visiting a friend in Mesa for Xmas and want to enjoy the whether there to ride at that time of the eyar, 40-60 miles rides, uphill challenges much welcome. Any suggestions?

Ride with this club on a weekend too.

Also if you want a climb, don't miss riding up South Mountain ('To the Towers') from the Central Ave entrance. Riding around South Mountain ('Around The Mountain') gets you out of the city for the south and western part of it which is nice. (both routes are in the link above) Do both aroudn and up which is always fun.

Usery - Front side to Bush Hwy and up King Kong. EXCELLENT ride and some climbing if you like it. Cat 4.
