Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bus driver comment

As I was heading home from work tonight a bus stopped in the lane next to me and the driver opened the door, he shouted "You really move. You were doing about 50 all the way down Chebucto Rd." Usually I only have bad experiences with bus drivers, just nice to hear something positive for a change.

You must have at least 2 weeks of training under your belt. Right?

I'm not being serious.

Oh, please note I do not live in one of the following four countries: Liberia, Myanmar, UK, United States (are there any others that still use miles?).

The whole world uses miles, 12 hour time, the USD, and fahrenheit.

P.S. - Why does Firefox not know how to spell fahrenheit?

Why don't people capitalize Fahrenheit? After all, it is a proper noun named after the Dutch physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit.
