Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

new bianchi porn

After some debate and shopping around for what was in my price range of $1300, I managed to come across a deal from my LBS. Pick up this 07' Bianchi Via Nirone with Ultegra/105 mix for a whoooping $1200 + tax came out to 1325 with two bottle cages. Installed the DuraAce brakes I had on my old bike to replace the 105's, which looked the same but I can feel the weight difference holding them. Size 55, I'm about 6'1.5" but wanted more drop then strech like my 58. Tried their 57 and felt the strech I didn't want. The guy at the shop was urging me to go with the bigger bike, but after some expanation of what I'm looking for and aero position, he handed me some allen wrenches to fit the bike to my size. This is about the final fitment, might install a smaller spacer to get a bit more drop if needed.

Yah I have 33inseam and long arms, out of the saddle on the 6% climb I did today, my knees were about
1cm from the bars. Yah we use the fireplace around xmas time, when it's what we call cold LOL. Here's what above the fireplace

The car in the last pic is an 08' Scion xB I got for my wife as her wedding gift. we got married on Saturday, got the car THEN the bike on Sunday. I had an 06' xB til a few months ago when I traded for a turbo miata cuz I hated the power and MPG was as good as I thought it was going to be. Wifey didn't want to drive 5spd in traffic so it went bye bye.

Great looking bike (even though I'm not a fan of bianchi's). Enjoy the ride.

awesome bike, and how the hell do you fit on that. I like small bikes, am your height, and ride a 59cm giro. I am amazed you fit. awesome bike though, glad to hear there is at least one other bianchi fan out here.

I love the Astana blue color. I can't believe you ride a 55 at your height. Wowzers. It is good to see some nice bar drop on there. I ride a 56cm, and I am only 5'10.5", 250mm post over the min insertion mark. Got a new post on the way. I have that same TV, run your wires through the wall it looks sooooo much better, and why aren't you watching VS in HD?

I'm 6 foot and I fit on a 55 as well. I actually felt perfect on a 54 Cannondale at the shop.

Sweet bike man. I love Bianchi's.

Theyre lovely looking. I had the white version but with a different crank and some Bianchi own brand brakes.

Im surprised you went for a 55 though. Im 5'10 and had
to shorten the stem to 90mm and bring the saddle forward abit to avoid the stretched out feeling. Mine was a 55.

The stem on there is a 115mm and the wing bars takes up about 5mm more in width as far as leg room goes when standing. The saddle is pretty centered right now.

The seat height vs bars drop feel is simular to my race MTB hartail, so my back and body is used to it.
Here it is in it's winter training mode (singlespeed)

For years I used to drool over any Bianchi- but in those days you could spot one a mile away. Mainly by the crowds round it and the Colour. Well---- eventually I got one and they work. Just a pity I have not got a road version.

Aw c'mon man, there are tons of Bianchi fans out here.

I'm not one of them, but there are tons.

That bike looks hot . . . I DO love Bianchis.

Again, I'm amazed you're happy with that size at your size. That would drive me crazy!!!

well assuming that the standard 55 frame comes with about a 100mm stem, having the 115mm stem on there gave me the mm lost in the 10mm shorter top tube. So the length from seat tip to bars is almost the same as the 57cm frame, but it has more drastic of a drop which I wanted and feel comfy with.
