Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dear Lenny,

What's point of traveling to Milan and visiting Guerciotti only to write this....

https://www.velonews.com/tech/report/...s/13622.0.html

Highlights of this riveting article:

"...the Guerciottis are proud of a well-organized warehouse" (with pics)

"We provide 360 degrees of customer assistance," said Alessandro. (a screw also turns 360 degrees)

Then it goes on to talk about a motorcycle.

"Before that, however, I plan to stop by to see Alberto Masi and his shop in the Vigorelli Velodrome. I also expect to stop by a "typical" Milan bike shop, Rossignoli. Stay tuned for reports from both of those visits as well."

I can hardly wait. zzz.

Although I agree the article was lacking in the details I was curious about, I will say I am reminded daily that they put up lots of content for free. So, are you out anything? Post a letter to them to complain, but if this is the harshest criticism you have of their website than let it go.

I'm a paid subscriber. I like the timely reports, but the writing is really banal.
Why visit a manufacturer just to photograph boxes in a warehouse? Why not talk about, I dunno, ...the bikes? I guess you get what you pay for on the internet.

The special TDF issue gets letters of kudos from readers every issue -they got all the stage dates wrong.

I've actually noticed "Bicycling" is getting better, and "Road" is a good read front to back.
