My New Commuter!
Just twice the weight of my Cervello SLC-SL, aluminum commuting bliss. Check out the welds and dished/aero wheels. $197 from Walmart.
I found this in the box the bike shipped in. What the hell is it? Some kind of Chinese tool?

I think a Kickstand would be out of place on that.
Nice bike for the price!
Ps I have those shifters and I don't really like them

i jam my thumbs up and back into the tubes. this way i can point my fingers straight out in front to split the wind and attain an even more aero profile, and the usual fixed gear - zen - connectedness feeling through the drivetrain is multiplied ten fold because my thumbs become one with the tubing.

I'm sure its a great bike considering the price and if cared for will go for a surprising number of miles. And its not even all that bad looking. I like how you've fliped the stem. However, I don't get the concept of a cheap commuter. I mean, a huge chunk of my total miles is from commuting..why would I want to spent 50% or more of the time I spend riding on a cheap piece of sheit boat anchor?

Because my other bike is a Cervelo SLC-SL. Isn't it illegal or something to put a rack on a Cervelo?
Really, I wanted to recover some of the cost of the Cervelo by selling my way nice commuter, a Trek Pilot 5.2 (it's on e-bay now) and replacing it with a functional beater. I would feel too guilty having over $10k in bikes laying around.

The seat is almost worth more.

Holy Cr@p, 36 spokes front and back. Have not seen a wheel with some many spokes in a long time.
dtrain, how did you get it to stand up?
Judging by those welds must be a pretty heavy frame. It even has a welded "carbon" fork - maybe not.
That downtube must be at least 1.5" diameter?

Marquee - I know, I just got tired of browsing Craig's list evry hour. Very little of what I was looking for and whatever wasn't way overpriced was sold immediately.
