Man after riding carbon and aluminum for soo long I rode steel again last night, it was soo nice. My next build is going to be steel with 7-8s DA, can't wait.

To tell the truth, not having my steel frames around for 1-2 years, I can't even remember what it's supposed to feel like. A bike is a bike after all, but yeah, I'm considering a custom steel frame from Carl Strong. If I choose steel over carbon, durability is the main factor I'm looking for and anything else is extra. My days of fawning over the details are over.

Thanks Frank! Built it for a gentleman with poor flexibility and crazy proportions. This is why the HT is tall and the TT is slopeing.

Built the frame myself. Mostly Columbus SPX tubing, mostly Dura Ace componentry.
I've also got a 90's steel Allez in more or less rideable condition, and my old Rivendell Rambouillet frame which is ready to sell.

Just scored a beautiful Centurion Prestige frame, I love the thing, building with period 105 and Mavic 501 hubs.

I don't know what width the BB is. I'm actually considering going to a double since I don't use the small chainring
