Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My freshly finished new commuter. I went with the Velo-Orange fenders instead of Honjos. I may have just gotten lucky, but they went on pretty easily and were already pre-drilled. Although I will have to drill to add a mudflap.

Yeah, lots of great bikes here! I have a steel Ritchey BreakAway that I've built up with a mix of campy shifters, shimano rear derailleur and sram cranks and cassette. Hopefully it'll take me to all sorts of exotic locales in the next few years of travel. Here it is at home on the Pacific coast, with some 28mm road tires for mixed terrain use.

Ok the frame is a 64cm c-t, with a 59.6 TT.
Dt240's running open pro rims, full campy

The bike was just being fitted when the pics were taken.

It's a pretty good bet that there were bikes in the boxes.

Here's one of my steel bikes. It's either 1997 or 1998. But I've upgraded everything on it since I bought it used from a LBS.

Build:
2008 SRAM Force group

Easton Orion II wheels

My one and only bicycle. Dad's old 1979 Raleigh Super Course 12. It's HEAVY, and a bit older than I am, but it's what I have, and I make the best of it.

Are those showing up?

I can't see your pictures, but I'm slowly piecing together a gigantic '78 Super Course. Not top of the line, but nice frames.
