I have no problems with the spacers....it's how far his bars are rocked back! Shorter stem or a flip the stem up....yes...I said flip it the other way....the way he has the bike setup now looks like a the owner would show up wearing denim shorts and tennis shoes for a group ride.

However, I will be riding even when the weather is crappy here getting ready for race season, which begins mid February in Ohio in the snow. Great times!!! 
As for my comment about the weather, as the temperatures go down e-attitudes generally get worse.
