Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Whoops....Yes, that's what I meant: I want a 1 cm longer stem.

Noodle

I have the Noodle on my cross bike and like it a lot. Sometimes I wish it had a little more flare in the drops. Prior to the Noodle I had a set of Nitto Dirt Drops which had a lot of flare. They gave a lot of control in the drops, but the flat was just too narrow. I have a set of regular drops on my road bike. Now that I have a Noodle on the other bike, it feels like my hands are angled in at a weird angle when I'm in the drops on my road bike. I went with the Noodle over the Soba because I wasn't too concerned about counting the grams. Plus I liked the classic look of the stamped crest and sleeve.
