'98 C'Dale R4000 rebuild
Here's a couple pics of a bike I just rebuilt. I finally got my Vanilla and decided to strip and refresh my old scratched up C'Dale. I got it powder coated a nice metallic coffee color and did the rest myself, including polishing the coating and scratches off the cranks, and refurbishing all the components. What fun task with DA stuff!

Yeah, yeah, I know it. I actually tried riding it with it dead level, but I kept sliding fwd on it during the shakedown ride. Maybe when it wears in a bit I'll lower it again, but for now the finish is too slick. I actually considered leveling it for the pics, but decided to leave it as I ride it. Thanks for the comment!

I have to admit I was a little lazy (and annoyed) having to 'click' onto a link, but I was glad I did. ![Big Grin](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You have done an excellent job on that C-dale. The powdercoat paint looks great, as do the crankset and derailleurs. It looks very meticulously done, especially with the black logos and all.
I say "outstanding"

Thanks to Jennifer Green Custom Jewelry...she makes some very cool stuff for bikes. This was perfect for me because my first tour overseas as a young Marine was Okinawa, the land that symbol hails from.
