Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

is an 04 scattante xrl worth 400?

I found the bike I think I want to get. I am pretty new at this, but think that I have learned alot, and I think this is a good buy. the bike is basically new. the guy hasnt ridden it at all really!! here are the components:
Shimano 105 F & R Derailleur
Shimano 105 Shifter/Brake Lever
Truvativ Isis Drive Elita Crank
Tektro Brake Calipers
Easton Frame
Carbon Fiber Fork
Hutchinson Fusion Tires
AlexRims
Shimano SPD-style pedals
Wireless Cycling Computer
Two Waterbottle Cages

Does anyone have an idea of how much this setup weighs??Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Don't worry about the weight. It should sit at around 20- 22 lbs with that setup, but it's a pretty solid setup other than the wheels if you're not a lightweight. It'd be a great starting bike at a good price.

Go for it if it fits!

He!! yes. I would race that b!tch as it sits. My size L Scattante with Ultegra and no trick stuff runs 19.5 with cages. That bike go right around 21lbs.
