Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Name the frame (Rock & Republic)

Grabbed this from another forum.

Any thoughts on the frame? Someone suggested Pedalforce:

Looks like a mash of gear - Reynolds, Ultegra, Mavic wheels

Old jersey, perhaps?

As far as I've been told (from the team's mechanic) - they're using Look frames this year and Shimano drivetrains. I could be wrong though, it was about 2 months ago when I last spoke to him over some ice cream, and it was late in the night. Those don't look like Look frames though?

They look like the Oakland Raiders. Hopefully, for them, the results are not Raideresque, since they'll all be fired if they don't win.

Bottecchia group buy....

Does that mean I should buy a Rock Racing jersey to match my new beater bike?

btw - you're going to have to do something about your avatar. I keep thinking that you're Voltman.

I see a CK headset on one, and integrated on the others. Looks like a mish-mash of frames, to me.

Ah, thanks - that article came between now and when I spoke to the mechanic... so thanks, I didn't know what the current status is, I only wrote what I was told a few months ago first-hand.

Furthermore, can the OP PLEASE resize the photo?!? Damn.

You had it better with Arsenal.

As for the Habs? They've been empty since Roy "le Roi" hung up his skates.

It's OK...they've won 17 Stanley Cups since my birth, of which I can recall 14.

Loyalty is strong.

Damn, looks like it was bring your own beater bike to work day for the team... or perhaps someone jumped on eBay and bought a few pedal force frames. Then called up Mike at BD and picked up a few more frames and some parts. Hahahaha.
Bikes Direct must be R&R’s new sponsor….
Hmm, is it me or does anyone else see that the Rock & Racing’s gear looks a lot like the basic Oakland Raiders and the Hells Angels designs all mashed up with a few tweaks ?

It looks like Freddie took some black spraypaint to his old Predictor-Lotto helmet...

Yeah? Loyalty is strong in Flames fans as well - the 90's were crap.

Anyway, from the ice to the road - good times

Who's the guy yawning on the right in world champ stripes and a Livestrong Giro helmet?

And why did Freddie go to this team? Seems like a strange move.
