Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anatomic drop bars with flat/oval tops

Does anyone here now of any inexpensive (60 and under) anatomic drop bars that have flat or oval shaped tops? The best one I have found is the FSA Wing Pro.

Dimension Flat top road bars

I snagged this pic off bikeparts.com (put dimension and handlebars into their search engine) and they list them for $30.99.

I use them and put a set on my wife's bike and will be putting a 3rd set on a new build. FWIW my LBS got them for close enough to the online price that I ordered through them.

Obviously, I like them. They're a legit 46cm wide (they come narrower too) and are comfortable and cheap. Can't ask much else from bars. Oh, and they're not oversized too. I like my semi-retro 3T Mutant stem even if it's a bit.....ahem...phallic. They could only be better if they came polished silver.

I guess I'm a cheap handlebar shill.

i use some Specialized bars i picked up for about $30-35 from my lbs. ergo, flat tops, and cheap. work great for me. i don't see them on their '08 webpage, and all can see on mine for "name" is "pro7050" under the middle emblem. i seem to think they were called the "comps" on the package. if you have a specialized dealer near you, they are worth checking out.
