Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Replacing a 100 year old pair of Shimano R210's and thinking about Specialized. Wondered how thier sizing went? 43.5 in Shimano = ??? Specialized ?

They list the US size right next to the European size on their site. If Shimano does the same you can do the math yourself.

I wear a 13-13.5 US and their 46cm (I think it's a 46, maybe a 48) shoe fits just as it should... although I'm of no help now, so here's the link to their size chart:

EDIT: I looked, mine are 48 and fit like my size 13 adidas tennis shoes.

I wore a 43 in Shimano and a 43 in Specialized. The Specialized seemed a tad more snug, but not enough to go up a size.

edit: For reference, I also wear a 43.5 in Sidi and 42 in Pearl Izumi.

my foot measures a 10, but I wear 11's in tennis shoes. In Sidi I'm between 45 and 45.5, Nike a 45 and Specialized a 45
