Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Short Drop Wide Top bars?

Could you guys suggest some... I've seen the FSA bars at one of my local shops for $79 made from aluminum. I can't recal the exact style. They were nice but a little unsure of just going for them as they were the only ones they had. Nothing to compare to. I would like to go for something sub $100 so I am going to assume carbon is out. but if there is something that you ride with and are happy with I would like to hear about it.

Thanks Rob

Dimension Road bars. Can't really beat the price even though I bought mine at the LBS; about half the price of the FSAs you mentioned. Does everything a bar needs to do and is a legit 46cm c-c.

Ritchey WCS Classic bend. Best deal going, 135mm drop (very shallow), come in 44cm center to center width, and are lighter than anything this side of $150.
This place usually carries them, I have ordered from them before, and recommend them,
but they are currently out of stock. If you can wait, the $59 is a good price.

I have the 42s on two of my bikes and love them.

FSA wing pro shallow comapct bars
125mm drop
80 mm reach
Flat top

Seem plenty stiff, I really like the shallow drops.
