Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: too many bikes

Bikes at The Glen

I came accross an interesting duathlon at the race track at Watkins Glen[NY]. Sat. May31.
1.75 mi. run/10.2mi.bike/1.75mi.run/10.2 mi. bike/1.75 mi. run. The runcourse is in the infield
and the bike course is on the race track. Should be a lot of fun. Info online at flybynightduathlon.

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

That certainly does look like it'll be fun. I'll probably be on another continent that weekend, though.

Although I'd have to say, it'll feel a lot longer at 20-25 mph than at 120+...

Bikes: Trek Madone 6.9; Madone 5.1; Trek 6500 & Trek 1500

That would be some fun uphill climbs, especially coming up through the Esses.
