I LOVE the Sigma BC2006 MHR. ... The O-rings do stink though. I ended up destroying the speed sensor because it shifted slightly and contacted the magnet and was destroyed (I was doing over 30 mph when it happened). You can set it up where you need it with the o-rings around the fork and then put electrical tape around the o-ring to keep the sensor from moving around. I did that but still had a problem. I'm going to silicone my new sensor to my fork in the proper position, then use the o-rings AND then electrical tape over them. Hopefully I won't have anymore problems!

Thought I would bump this thread. I discovered Sigma has a zip-tie adapter for the speed sensor. Just email customer service and they will send one to you for free. See my post here:

Sometimes it's a quick job, other times is seems no matter how you have it set up it wont read. The biggest thing i can recommend is for the Cat-Eye is to pick up their extra strength magnets, because to pick up the the cadence it needs to be super close to the crank arm, and with frames with longer stays it can be hard to get it to pick up the wheel magnet.

Also, the Cat-Eye eats through batteries like no other computer I've seen. It got to the point where most of the riders who rode out of our shop had them, and went in together and bought a case of batteries to get them cheap.

Correct

+1 I have one as well. I don't need cadence because I know what 90-100 RPM is like and if I want a heart rate monitor, I wear a wrist band unit. The Micro to me is perfect in its simplicity. I don't like a lot of wires and sensors on my bike.
Also as mentioned, the set up such as clock, odometer etc is part voodoo witchcraft. If the moons are aligned you can set it right up. If not, best to drink heavily. ;)
Cheers.

My 1606L came with the adapter and it was worse than the o-ring. On my bike it was impossible to use it to set up the sensor such that it was close enough to the magnet to register but far enough so that the back of it didn't whack the spokes.
