Bar Phat from Specialized?
Anyone tried this yet? I hate wearing riding gloves but on longer rides I do. This stuff looks like it could be the answer.

Anyone else really dislike wearing cycling gloves?

Been playing with my samples for a good 4 hours now, I can't get enough of the stuff. However, spending the majority of the time in the hoods doesn't really seem to warrant the cost of this gel. I might try it the next time I change tape.

I like using it. There are gel strips for the drops too. It has helped with some fatigue problems I've had and the bad roads that just happen.

The samples are very relaxing to fondle

My wife's Sequoia came with it. Very nice, but pricey. On my commuter, I cut open some old tubes and wrapped my bars with that under the normal wrap to get some extra padding. Not as soft as the Phat, tho.

I saw the stuff but was not too impressed...I like wearing gloves because I've gone down with and without gloves before...it's better with. Plus when I ride and need to wipe my nose...that terry cloth comes in handy. If the rough roads are an issue there might be other issues...over inflated tires, wider tires might help, or the handlebar might need to be raised.
