Shoes
I'm shopping for shoes. I like the fit of Sidis and I tried on a pair of Sidi Technos. The shop is asking $200 Canadian [$125 US], though I'm pretty sure they're motivated enough to drop the price somewhat more... I can't stand the colour [light metallic blue] and I was actually looking for genius 3s...
Nevertheless... does anyone have any experience with these shoes -- Technos or Sidis generally -- that they'd like to share? How durable are the buckles? Should I hold out and keep hunting for the G3s? After all, the season is almost over up here in the land of ice and snow.
[BTW, I've always been a Diadora guy...]

I've had three pair of Sidis, Genius 3 wide version, 2 pair Titaniums, they'd be ancient to most, perhaps the best shoe I ever had. The Genius are great shoes, but a pivot on the ratchet mechanism tends to work loose and has to be shoved back into place occasionally. If they fit, BUY them. If they fit real good after you ride in 'em a while, buy two pair.
