Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cinelli build: Done

Campy Veloce
Fulcrum 7's
Pro Race 3's

Bike came in just a tick over 18lbs, I'm ok with that, this was a budget build, those Fulcrum wheels are heavy but they seem to be well built and stout. I am very impressed with the Campy Veloce group and how it performs, very precise and clean shifting. Funny thing is that I really don't need another bike but I discovered I really enjoy "building" bikes. I may sell the Cinelli and start another project or dump that money into a nice set wheels, like Zip 303's or Kysrium SL's for my Kestrel.
Later.

North of Denver, East of Boulder. A buddy of mine runs a very small upstart bike shop, one of his suppliers had the frame in the warehouse, they were no longer going to import them, it had been there all last summer and was the last one. I paid $200 for the frame. I thought that was a good deal.
African Black is what Cinelli calls the color. It's a dull black, no gloss or clear coat.

My Xperience is matte blue. I just finshed building mine last month. I dont know why so many people have bad things to say about aluminum frames being stiff etc. I really like the ride.
