Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No chance. Kind of an org chart impossibility. Now if I called him a f-n c-t then I'd get fired for HR reasons.

I understand completely because I have two daughters 15 and 12.5. Here's a good substitute: when they're whining, rub your thumb and index finger lightly together and ask them what you're playing. Answer: world's smallest violin and it's playing a sympathetic song just for her.

or...(when they're older)

if they're looking for sympathy, tell them they can find it in the dictionary between sh*t and syphillis!

IMHO those that don't like the use of HTFU need to STFU and go back to coloring.

This is my 2 cents, take it for what it is worth (free).

Yeah...I would say the whole thing. It's manufacturing. We're a filthy lot.

I like "Put some Vagisil on it and get back on the road"

But HTFU has become a mindstate for me as well, inspired by this forum. And I have also found out (much like Psimet) that using it outside of your own philosophy doesn't go over that well with other people.. particularly girlfriends.
