I do mostly crits and fitness riding.

I'm 6'2".

I ride an aluminum frame now but would be interested in something new.

What do you guys reccomend in that ball park?

Lots of information on Pedal Force on this forum for which you can something for as little as $600. Otherwise, for anything higher end, obviously, you'd be looking at the used market.

Many have recommended sticking with aluminum for crits due to their durability.

If you want steel, a Gunnar Roadie frame is about $750. A Soma is less. Sometimes Cannondale has frames for sale on a year-end deal.

Try the Orbea Opel. Do not have one, but some riding buddies use them and like 'em. ~900 new Ebay.
