Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Source for custom chainrings

I need these for junior gearing.

BTW- At the moment I have a 12-25 cassette. Can I swap out the 12 for a 13? If so, where would I be able to buy it? Or do I need to buy a whole new cassette?

Any input is appreciated.

I need a 46-13 as my largest gear.

Any idea where I could buy a single cog?

what BCD do you need?
SRAM and FSA make 46T

Make sure you buy the ring with the same BCD as your crank.

you can just lock out the 12T by adjusting the limit screws.

go with 45T by 12. I'm a junior but my coach had a cassette so I don't use (want to buy?) Salsa makes them.

I could do that. I know a dude who has a 44 in the front. His cadence over a longish ride was 125RPM. Crazy.

Or you could buy a Miche "young" cassette. They also make a crank for juniors (also called "young").

The best chainrings are made by Specialities TA. They make a 46t too.

Peter White cycles can supply them.
Stronglight rings are good too.

Get an FSA 52t chainring, and a Shimano Ultegra 6600 14-25 cassette.
Or if you're running Campy, get the Veloce 14-25.

Good call; youth cassettes (like the Miche ones). However, I would not spend any of my money on FSA or SRAM rings. Just buy TA or Stronglight ones.
