Riding Oasis. For your viewing pleasure!
The nice part about where i live, is the crazy amount of route options. Also, I like to take pics.
Today i did two climbs. The second was my favorite. If you ever come to Banff, you need to do the climb up to the hot springs.
If you have any pics, please share. I would like to see other amazing places to ride. I am sure we have some photographers with much nicer pictures then mine.
After all, cycling is an art form!

The wheels kill this pic.
damn!

The top of 2.5 mile climb, the one you should all try. Its fun!

Enjoy!

First of all... Bontrager, you are creepy! How did you know that?
I do wish i had a better camera, but the SD630 is easy to ride with.
Also, This shot would look a whole lot sexier with some carbon wheels. Is what i men't, maybe some Zipp's

Not really, I mean you're capturing the simple and elegant feel of nature, and the carbon deep-dish wheels are all high-tech. The wheel here is a lot more simple.

All he has to do is download the photo and look up the info, it's called meta data...he can find out your aperture, iso, shutter speed, time you shot it, and what type of camera your using in most cases.

You guys should come with me for a ride from my Hudson Valley home to Ridgefield NJ where my in-laws live. I did that 60 mile ride on lovely Xmas day in the pouring 38º rain, which brought new meaning to the words HTFU:

You can't get that Sopranos vibe in those friggin Canuck Rockies.

i jam my thumbs up and back into the tubes. this way i can point my fingers straight out in front to split the wind and attain an even more aero profile, and the usual fixed gear - zen - connectedness feeling through the drivetrain is multiplied ten fold because my thumbs become one with the tubing.

I can read your mind, too. I bet you're using a Macintosh.
Anyway. You can drag on one of your images from the webpage in Safari to your Mac's desktop. Then click once on the image on your desktop to select it. Then press Command-I - that brings up the information on that file. Near the top of the window there's a section called More Info that says information about the file (in this case it's an image) so it tells you the device make, model, focal length, etc.
If you double click the image and it opens in Preview and then you hit Command-I you can get even more info.
So on that image I can tell a bunch of things.
-Make and model of your camera
-Date/ Time you took the picture
-Your camera was on auto exposure
-Your flash was set to auto but it didn't fire
-blah blah blah
You probably cropped and/or resized the image. Luckily the program that you're using leaves all of those important information in the image metadata. Some programs strip that info out. The info can be very useful in helping you become a better photographer but it looks like you got the jist of it from the pictures you've posted already.

Right, because there's nowhere nice to ride in the Hudson Valley.
