How many hours, miles and days do you cycle per week?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I try to train 5 days a week and take 2 rest days. Usually average about 4.5 - 5.5 hours and 70 - 85 miles per week depending on the amount of climbing, etc. Week usually consists of one hill climb day, one interval day, two recovery rides and one longer ride (2-4 hours).

Of course there are some weeks better than others and rest weeks once in a while (like family vacation weeks .

This week, if plans come to fruition, I should have about 9 hours and 120 miles in (wanting to do a 100k ride on Saturday)

I am thinking of changing my measurement to elevation gained. When I was riding around Denver, I was doing about 150 miles per week, but now that the riding in the foothills and mountains is getting good, I am lucky to hit 100, but with lots of climbing, this week might hit 20,000' feet.

Lately, about 10 hrs per week, over 6-7 days and 250-300km (~150-180 miles)

Commute is round trip of 12kms each day (unless I feel slack or need the car for something)
I try to get out and do some sort of ride Tuesday morning or night
Wednesday night is track training
Might ride Thursday morning or night
Saturday is a group ride, solo ride or racing
Sunday is a group ride, solo ride or racing

I probably need to be a bit more consistent... it does vary quite a bit from week to week at the moment. I just try to get a mix of 'steady' riding done and some intensity too - thrashing myself at track on Wednesdays and racing on the weekend seems to take care of that.

Since the beginning of March ....... not nearly as much as I should be doing!!

I had a GREAT February, and then it all sort of went downhill.

not enough and I ride every day, or close to it. I may take off a day in 3 weeks, but that's about it. AND I NEED MORE!!!!

Just under 200km/week in April, probably about 325km/week in May and I'll be attempting a 110km round trip commute starting in June plus a couple of brevets which should be around 750km/week. With commuting and other riding I'm usually on the road 6-7 days a week.

I get out twice a week...
Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
Both days I hit some huge Japanese style climbs
and spend usually a total of 6-7 hours in the saddle each week.
Not sure on the mileage.
More unsure if it really means anything...

I could squeeze in a few more rides,
but I have a hard time finding the motivation for the short rides.

I aim for 6 days a week. From 10 to 20 miles on workdays and over 30 miles on my days off. Every 2 weeks, a 60 miler. I don't really have a schedule. My work shifts are long and wife + kid + daughter + etc... So I ride whenever I can get away with it. I'm averaging 125Mi per week.

What is your routine?
. . . .
My routine:
---------------
Monday thru Friday - 27 miles per day bike commute to and from work
Saturday & Sunday - 140-200 miles usually with the DC Randonnuers (or with the Baltimore Bike Club)

Not my usual routine - last weekend--Saturday = 150 miles and Sunday = 100 miles

4-6 days per week. No ride on mondays and sometimes another day mid-week depending on call schedule.
Ride 42 miles on the weekdays (2 hr average).
Weekend ride is on sunday with a 80-120 mile ride (4.5-6+HR)
Average about 200 miles/week. Do the math on the hours.
These are solo rides.
