I'm quite happy with mine, but it should be mentioned that I'm old, slow and unsophisticated.
Great value for the money, and at least in the case of my model, I'm unlikely to ever meet myself going down the road.

I have been looking for info on the new 08 Jamis Quest with the compact frame but I have not found any picture postings or reviews. On paper, the 08 Quest looks great. Bicycling picked it one of the three best in its category. Some people do and some don't put much into Bicycling reviews. I think the review is in the latest magazine.
Their marketing shows they are using size specific tubing for each size. Works for me. I bought a used Ventura and it rode great. Stable geometry.

I have 2005 Quest and I am very happy with. I am not racing, just riding around. I did a couple of mods: bigger tires, 28 to the rear and 25 to the front (unfortunately, front won't take anything bigger, beware). So now it can easily negotiate far from perfect roads around here as well as the gravel part of some of my usual trips.
