Orca above... red cable up front and nowhere else seems to scream for some color matching somewhere else. Uninspiring chainring/wheels, as an object of art that is, am sure they perform superb. A dab of gold accents here/there to complement the black would be good 4me.

Nice build Rad.

Of all of bike's I have seen you post, the Orca is the dullest. I guess that's saying something about the high quality of your collection!

I prefer to have the crankarm extend out at the same angle as the chainstay....;)

Vic - I have to admit that your Orca's were an inspiration to me - fine examples of simplicity done right in a high tech bike. Well, except for the Shimano drivetrain. ;)

Your photos are beautiful. If I hadn't just gotten my Diva frame, I'd consider the Orca. Classic colors (in two seasons pistachio will be passe', then what? New bike?), gorgeous construction, quality work...even with Shimano.

Thank you. That's all one can ask for when taking all aspects of a build into consideration. I appreciate the compliment even tho we disagree on the drive train. Thanks again and once again you have shown great attention to detail. Wowsers.

20 D's are good cameras. I've had mine for about 6 months. Picked it up off a friend who replaced it with the newer generation something or other. I wish it had the bigger screen like the new ones but for what I paid, I can't complain.

I could only remember your steel bikes, not the Trek. Builds and photography are both inspiring.

Good god man, if I worked for Orbea, I'd be PM'ing you to discuss how much you wanted for those pics. Stunning work.

I know that it's a controversial bike round here, but the thing your pictures really bring out is the way the design flows -- you stare at the top tube, suddenly you realize your staring at the seatstays or the downtube -- it just merges into one.

Well yeah... add the studio lightings, the diffuser screens, and everything u learned from your photography class and training.

The red cables do complement the red tires, but to my taste, I rather have those shifter cables hidden, a bit impossible I know.

Since I ride most of the time with my hands on top, I woulnd't mind having classic shifters on the downtube, and do away with the extra cables and have things cleaner, but that's just old foggie me.

Gold accents on the components, not on the frame. :thumb:
