Here's one more....next post will have several including the full bike. http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/5...earwardkh1.jpg |
being a fixed/SS rider, it is hard to impress me with geared bikes, but all of yours especially the chrome/lugged frame bike is amazing. and this is also amazing can't wait for the full pics.

geez - quit teasin'. ;) Nice Thomson seat post. :D

Schwing!
|
orca indeed
Ahh, bike porn:p... the Orca is a truly unique design. It makes me wish I was a professional designer. It has a kind of art decco look to it, a touch of classic Schwinn cruiser to it's voluptous frame lines. Maybe it's not the most reliable bike on the market (so I've heard), but easily one of the top in sex appeal and mytique.

how sweet are the wing pros? i got the OS-115 stem in white, wish i'd got the bars white too instead of black.
my new favorite bars though. |
thanks for sharing
excellent work of art |

damn i just spent about 8 full minutes just staring at that last pic.
honestly i was trying to find something to critique, but can't. |
*******..... =) NIICE bike.

55/rad, you need to include new pairs of underwear when you provide those pics.
where do you take the pics? and how do you get the bike to stand up like that alone? |

This photo was taken from a previous shoot. Todays shoot was with a different lighting setup for the Orca but you might recognize the wall. http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/893...tosetupxp0.jpg |
thanks for that pic, helps me vizualize it now. neat setup. great pics, awesome bikes.

Amazing photographic work ... the red cables on my bike get more attention/comments then the actual Record/Argon bike do, odd but whatever. ;)

The red cables are a subtle touch. I discovered how nice they can work on the Pinarello and in this case, I imagined an Orca whale with a touch of blood in its mouth. Like it had just bitten a walrus or something. I sat on this frame for months waiting for inspiration. It finally came in the form of the wheels - the Spinergy Xaero lites - and their ultra cool PBO white spokes. The Campy group had been sitting in my garage for 4 years, waiting for the Tete to be done. I figured it was time to put it to good use. 55/Rad |
Man, Rad. I love my Opal but those pics make me kind of wish I'd have gotten an Orca.
Wow. SO nice! |
Perhaps am getting old, but not too crazy about these new frame shapes, still prefer the classic. Your Pinarello was perfection and nothing top it yet. :)
Orca above... red cable up front and nowhere else seems to scream for some color matching somewhere else. Uninspiring chainring/wheels, as an object of art that is, am sure they perform superb. A dab of gold accents here/there to complement the black would be good 4me. |
nice setup, nice results!

I've had 2 08 orca's and now one 09 and just finished building a 57cm for a customer that weighs 13.5 in riding trim ( well no computer ) but cages everything else. Also have sold at least 40 of these with Zero issues. However I have heard of once a guy sitting on the top tube and crushing it. The walls of the frame are really thin and would not recommend sitting on any top tube of any carbon bike. I do agree that many people put big zipp wheels etc on there bikes and sometimes it takes away from the true design of a nice frameset. I believe the woman who designed the Orca really had nice vision with it. what kind of camera did you use in those pics? here are some of mine. http://i29.tinypic.com/330s7zl.jpg http://i27.tinypic.com/2yopwyq.jpg |
