Mint 1984 Trek 560 series Racing bike found
Hello,
Any idea what the bike is worth? It's untouched and virtually brand new with "Made in USA stickers still the wheels and "Maillard stickers on the hubs. Unbelievably light!!!!!! Beautful black metal flake paint with matching black wheels!! I found the original sales brochure on-line. It has butted frame and all of the stock components. Brochure says it was made for fast club riding, triathlons and category IV racing with a reynolds racing frame, matrix black anodized wheels, SR cranks, etc.
Black with reddish/orangish graphics. Is anyone into these vintage racing bikes? Without listing all of the components, can someone give a ballpark? I hate when people ask for values on other forums, but I have no idea what I've got. The gentleman I bought it from said that it's been untouched and was sitting in his parents now out-of-business bike shop since it was new. He's also selling a Bridgestone bike.
Thanks in advance!
fred
