Lance wins.
Our media institution, "auntie" the BBC. held its annual "sportsman of the year" awards last night, and it was pleasing to see Lance Armstrong win the international award "accolade".
Recognition for a cyclist "Hooray". must be a first I`m sure. Normally cyclists never even get a mention, But as well as Lance winning a rather nice trophy, the three Brit cyclists Millar,Wiggens, and Cooke, were also praised for their exploits.
What is going on? do we have a cyclist on the Show`s production team methinks

Must be a Brit thing. Millar did win the TT World Championship and Cooke won a TdF stage. Armstrong was snubbed for the Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year award here in the US in favor of two basketball players.
