Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Those bikes aren't all the same size. I think there's a 61cm thrown in there.

Those all look like good buys for the price, but you don't know your size do you, or are you sure its 56cm?

OP - If you want a quick answer, I'd skip bikes 2, 3 and 5; I'd consider 1 and 4. But as you'll see over and over again in this forum, bike choice is first about fit.

how much do you want to spend? what riding do you intend to do? how much riding do you intend to do? trails? roads? group rides? how tall, fat, flexible, heavy are you? why are you shopping on ebay, do you not have a good lbs or not want to spend the money? what about craigslist where you can see before you buy. what about bd instead of ebay? either way you may need an lbs to help you get things set up...

If there were a local bike shop in your area that sold used that would be the place to go. You being new and knowing very little trying to shop alone will only turn out badly.

If I were new to biking, I'd shop at a local store and forget about Ebay. There is more to a bike than cosmetics. Fit is most important. And if you think all bikes of the same size will feel the same on a ride, then you need to take a test spin on several models. You'll be surprised how different they will feel, even to a relative newbie. Save yourself some trouble and visit a local bike shop.

Have you been out to your LBS to test ride anything, or to be sized?

Based on the $$'s you're looking at spending on those bikes on ebay, I think your money would be best spent on CraigsList (if you're looking to get a deal/used) or your LBS where you can try it before you buy it.

I am 6'0" 145lbs, I ride a 56cm Trek. I'm "cramped" on it, but thats how i am comfortable riding. I have a 57cm Quintana Roo Time Trial bike, i get a little more stretched on. If I was to get fit without any prior comfort knowledge I would probably be told to look at 58cm frames, I'd have more options with stem lengths and seat post height.

I hope you find something good. I messed up my first eBay purchase, but I nailed my second.

Most likely the best course of action. Alot of aspects to take into consideration, from geometry to your own comfort. If your going to spend any cash, best to do it wisely than to be stuck with something you won't enjoy in the long haul.

I went to a shop, and put down my cash on a bike I still ride 6+ years now down the line.

I would look at a 58.
Why don't you go to a few LBS to get up to speed on what's happening with bikes.
Make your decision from there.
I would do craigslist so that you could at least try local and buy local.
Good luck.
