How do you adjust the Specialized Barmac bars
I recently purchased a used 2006 Tarmac SL and I can't figure out how to adjust the Barmac bars. I understand that you can change the angle with wedges, but I'm not sure how to do it. I would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Do you have the wedges? They fit inside the stem and are angled. One way is one angle...spin it 180° for another angle and flip it over and get two more angles. There should be more than one shim as well (alternate angles).
Edit oops I am wrong...I was thinking of the Pro Fit stem they use.
Here is a blow up of the system...loks like you do something with that allen bolt toward the front.

I think I have a different Barmac version. The area the of the stem that connects to the fork is round and not tear drop shaped as shown in the diagram. Is there more that one version? Or am I see things?

Yes there is another version but they don't claim that it is adjustable.
Do you have shims like the Pro Set?

Also my allen bolt is centered and not towards the front. I checked the bars and it says "Barmac." I think it is more like the the Pro Set. I will check for shims tonight.

I have the barmac wedge, which is adjustable. Then there's the barmac, which isn't...

Thank You
Thank you all for the comments. I have the Barmac that is not adjustable. I might to ditch it and get a different stem and bar. The Barmac is a bit too aggressive for me.
