A good deal for a Klein or not???
Hello all! I am looking for a new road bike because mine is pretty much done and also needs to be upgraded. I found this add online and thought i would get some opinions before going forward with it. Here is the add:
Klein Quantum Race(97/98 vintage before Klein sold out to Trek) 58cm Dura Ace 9-speed drive-train(shifters,crank,bottom bracket, deraileurs)Ultegra Brakes,Dura Ace pedals, Easton handlebars, Fork is carbon fiber on this model.Mavic Cosmic wheels. Excellent condition!
He is wanting $700... Let me know what you all think!!!

I ride an '05 Klein Q-pro... they are great bikes.
I don't think $700 is too much. Depends on the condition of the bike, however. A bike in excellent condition could have 20K on it, and need new chainrings, cassette, chain, BB etc. which would get expensive quick. DA-9 is still pretty nice stuff....
If you can verify that it is in good shape, so for it!
