Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who told you the "M" would fit? Being 5' 10" with a 34" inseam is not the usual. I would go to a LBS to find a the bike fits you and not the other way around.

going by the top tube, you're between a S and M.

you just have long legs, so you'll probably end up with a lot of seatpost showing and a positive rise stem or a huge wad of spacers below the stem.

If you go with a L you'll be stretched out a lot. If your legs are really that long.

lemonds have longer top tubes compared to seat tubes... that would be the opposite of what the op would need...

As discussed in the other thread...I am also 5'10" but I have a 31.75" inseam. For me the TT on that M Ridley would be too long...and the S would mean too much saddle to bar drop for me as a recreational rider.

Look for a different brand IMO.

Curtlo will do a custom steel frame for less than a grand (well around a grand depending on fork choice). https://www.curtlo.com/frame_pages/custom_road.html

OP: a Ridley size M will require you to have a lot of seatpost extension (not a bad thing) and a pretty short stem, as you have long legs relative to your torso. I write this having test-ridden a medium Excalibur. I have the same inseam as you and had to jack the seatpost way up. I am also 3.5" taller than you and would require a 110 or 120 stem with that bike, which means that you would be looking at a stem of less than 100mm, most likely.

You really need to test ride the bike, which is tough, given that the brand is not widely distributed.

The top four Ridley frames have long headtubes, so you could MAKE a medium fit you. It might require a top clamp post and a bit shorter stem, but it would work.
You should likely look for a bike with a bit shorter effective top tube than the medium Ridley. It's 56.5cm.

I'm 6'1" with longish arms and a normal inseam for my height and ride a medium Helium. 120 stem and 2.5cm of spacers under it (back issues).
