Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What bike was this?

Today in the parking lot of LL Bean I rode past a bike on a car rack that stooped me dead. It was a red practically all carbon everything TT bike. It was the sexiest bike I have ever seen up close. Really low tolerance between the deep carbon rimmed wheels and frame. Dura Ace group. Bottle racks behind the seat. Strange bars. I can't remember the name, but it started with C and reminded me of the Mexican word for beer. Anyone?

Hey man, the difference is, I guessed the name based off the 'mexican word for beer' part. You probably guessed it from the description of the components. You still win.

TT bikes are not sexy. They're born ugly... they can't help it.
