Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My new calfee arrived today...

Luna Pro frame w/easton ec70 fork.

Not the lightest frameset, in fact heavier than my Fuji Team SL (Aluminum frame w/fuji fork) but I don't particularly care.

Fork was 530g
Frame w/CK headset was 1350g

Beautiful. Calfees are the prettiest frames made, IMO of course.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Calfee. You'll soon be wondering why you ever bothered to ride anything else.

The Calfee is the only bike frame I've seen that looks light. If you know what I mean.

Hah, I just got a frame to replace my Fuji SL as well. The Fuji is superlight, but at a price...my fillings.

You guys crack me up lol.. TV isn't that big, it's cheaper than the frame

Total price shipped for fork/frame/headset was < 1100, brand new. I had been looking at Parlee's prior to finding this gem but to be honest this was too good of a deal to pass up. That and it'll be a long time before I would do a Parlee justice.

The FUJI Team SL will be stripped down to build the calfee up. I still need a couple parts to finish the build (new bars, thinking easton EA70 aero/ergo), waiting for the front derailleur to arrive, and need to get some barrel adjusters for it.

one cool thing about calfees is you know it can be fixed no matter what kind of damage you do to it.

I hate to be the one to ask, but approximately what did that frame/fork/headset cost you? I absolutely love the frame.
