Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm no roadie so I hope its ok for me to post here.
Anyway-

On second thought, this guy could be more of a poser than a Fred. Race kit with sandals makes it a tough call.

There was a pic somewhere on here about a year ago (or maybe more) of a guy with his bib straps over his jersey

No I didn't...that was our team jersey! Actually, I did horrible that season. I only placed in my last two races...my highest place was 9th...IN INTRO!

I can barely climb out of a paper bag...but I can go real fast on flat ground now.

Nothing wrong with this pic . I raced in toe-clips and straps between about 1987 and 1995, and I even raced with non-aero brake levers in my first year -- the very old non-STI levers with the cables sticking out of the top
