Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's just that it's a "quiet" bike. It isn't loud and obnoxious like a lot of the other bikes on BF. It almost goes unnoticed or maybe it's stealth-like? Nice touches of red btw.

I removed all of the components from my BMC (damaged in an accident) and built up the Ridley. This was my first build so I learned a lot from the experience and had a good time doing it.

It needs some deep carbon wheels. They work the same magic as stripper shoes and a six pack.

Hi,

This is hot. It would be even hotter with a different stem. Nice job.

This one has potential and it just sizzles for now. What you need is some maroon scotch brite from your local automotive store and spend a day or two on it. Give it the true Lynskey look! You've already scrubbed the Scattante off and now its partly shiny, no turning back now!

Thanks. I am in the process of putting together another bike right now so I can keep riding while I disassemble this frame and polish it. That should take care of the contrast between the polished titanium seatpost and the frame. Then I think a titanium stem will tie everything together nicely.

Cool! Since your bike is really a lynskey, I know Lynskey at one point sold the decal set along with the head badge for $45. I saw it on their old webpage which can be accessed here : www.lynskey.maycreate.com .

Dunno about Hot, but Huffy's look like they can handle their own out there. +1 for the balls on Posting a huffy on this thread, and another for making it work. Welcome to BF community Tonger and hope to see more of what these Huffy's can do.

I'm digging this. I would dig it even more with black bar tape.

Chapeau though.
