HOT - I'm a huge BMC fan and love the color scheme! Granted the photo could have been posed or staged to better present the bike but I like how it looks like you actually ride it and not just put it in a gallery to be looked at :)

Very nice upgrade. Now take a picture from the correct side without all the extra garbage on there.

Good eye. Never noticed the extra logo. She weighs 14.9 lbs. The logo count definitely went up on these new models. :)

mine is a '12

i opted for the silver..thats what the difference is. I didn't like the colored accents on the white/silver frame....and figured I'd put the 1000 bucks I saved towards the zipps. weight with pedals and cages is 15.3

i read where you said it was rigid (the gold) I felt the same when I test rode it and the silver has a real nice smooth ride. I got the 55cm which rides like a 56...thought about going 53cm...may do it on my next orca.

Thank you. It's faster than I am. But not for long.

Uncheck the box in the picture upload button when you copy and paste the URL into it, then it will link it directly to the image instead of inserting it in as a thumbnail.

Very nice. Wouldn't mind if I had both a Gold and Silver. Mine measures 57cm. I've also thought trying a smaller size but I'm pretty comfortable with 57. Wow, so you're a true Orca fan. Can't say I blame you. This is my second one and I'm pretty happy on how they perform. My previous one was mainly white so switching over to primarily black (nude carbon) is a nice change. I got a nice deal on the frame (mentioned it to you before) so I no buyer's remorse here. Now I just got to get some more miles on her. This one is a standard crank so now I have both compact & standard (once again).

Slybry 06-15-12 07:12 PM

ok, trying again with a full sized pic

I thought this was a neat little pic. This is where my S2 sleeps in my bike dungeon.

That's a mighty fine looking TT rig. Even if it is mostly white.

They get dirty to easy. Well, they show dirt faster that is. I had one, and it drove me crazy so I took a razor blade, and scrapped all 160g of the paint off of it. As a matter of fact that bike can be seen in the reflection in the mirror just above my top tube of the S2 in the pic I just posted. I like it a lot better now. It looks ninja as can be.

i don't understand why you took a razor to it...seems way more time consuming than using a paint stripper...like aircraft cleaner...anyways..mine gets dirty but its not that bad, I always wipe it down with a microfiber cloth after my rides and its all good...wash it once in a blue moon...(once so far) but its sexy

Very nice. Here's my '08. No plans on selling it (yet). As you can see it, it's mostly white. Sounds like we did a color flip. This one's a 57 too.

Flip it, but I like it. Don't see too many bikes without 10+ logos on them.

Aircraft stripper is not carbon safe. They make some stuff called carbolift, designed for carbon, but it is expensive, and I would of had to order it. I already had plenty of razor blades, and everyone on the WW forum said that was the way to go. I clean my S2 after almost every ride. The other bikes not so much, so the fact that the Trek now hides dirt is a good thing.
