Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Heh. The thing is, if I ask for permission, I generally get to do whatever I want.
I'd rather not find out what happens when I make a large purchase without at least talking to her first.

I guess I'm lucky it didn't go into the spokes. I did manage to snap some decent pics of the bike after the ride though.

sheldon fender nuts for the win! sheldon fender nuts are brake nuts that extend outward and have a 5mm thread inside that you can put the fender bolt into - so you can quickly/easily put on fenders.

fenders may seem dorky, but damn they keep the drivetrain/frame clean. I was soaked through and through regardless, but at least the bike was spic and span after the ride.

This bike is blazing molten hot. I'm normally not a fan of reflective sidewalls but it looks like (unlike me) you actually clean them.

Then cut it! Don't worry about resale as you really shouldn't be selling it in the first place. IMO, Parlee is one of those bikes you keep forever.

With that picture it doesn't have a chance. Try to get a better picture and it could go from a not to a HOT.

I already expressed my approval for this elsewhere. You did a fine job. (With the bike, not the pic)
