Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I agree that their bikes are hot, but keep in mind it's subjective. I think my bike is hotter than many of the "hot" bikes on this thread.

Frankly, I'm sick of the all black carbon bikes and cervelos on zipp wheels. They are dime a dozen. I will take pictures of 20 "nots" if it promotes getting one hot (and unique) posting.

All of these very clearly not hot bikes are upsetting me.

If your first post on the forum is of a not hot bike in this thread, read the thread to see what hot bikes are. I realize it's 501 pages, so just look through the last hundred or so. You'll get a better idea.

You'll also learn how to set up your bike for best pics.

Not to be a jerk but in his defense there is a "post your bike" thread elsewhere. This thread is for bikes that are HOT or on the verge of it. Do you really believe your flatbar Allez is even remotely hot?

Did you even read my post?

A few points I'd like to raise here:
1)I've been here longer than you and am fully aware of the thick-skin rule.
2)I was being a jerk in the post because
3)I was calling pretty much every bike on the page (including yours) not hot and
4)People should at least read through a bit of the thread to get an idea of what qualifies as hot before making their first post ever being that of a not hot bike.

edit: Gary beat me to it

That and the seatpost are its most polarizing features. I personally like them but understand that opinion is in the minority.

what would you like to see on it? I nearly used an ec90 fork and threadless stem. It would have dropped a bucket load of weight but the fork didn't feel as good under my 180#.

Ohhhhh. So you bought the one and only carbon Allez huh?? Can't say I have ever seen an all carbon Allez in person.
When you say all all Ultegra what is Ultegra on your bike besides the front and rear deraileur? The crank isn't and I am pretty sure the flat bar controls are not Ultegra either.

That suspension seatpost is carbon?

How about the dork disk and 4 reflectors?

For an "all carbon but frame" bike, I sure don't see too many parts in carbon.

Regardless, carbon or not, it's NOT HOT.

Needs 32 or 36 hole lo pro rims. I usually like tanwalls but I think they kinda clash with yellow in frame in this case. Still a rad bike though.

I think the Salsa stem and Thomson seatpost are just fine.
