I'm aware that this is a nit-picky thread, but that the above is even mentioned takes ridiculous to a new level - that you're dinging a bike because of bar- and saddle-level that's well within the range of normalcy indicates anal-retentiveness of a sort that leads me to believe that your bowel movements are no thicker than an earthworm.

ok well thats MY opinion, which is kinda what this whole thread is about. seeing a bar tilted up or a saddle down grabs my attention in a negative way. To me this thread is about art. Art is to be critiqued. Some people can walk by art and not care about details, while others chose to critique everything. Nothing wrong with either way. just like there is nothing wrong with having bars that tilt up a little bit. It is personal and it is my personal choice to critique that. That's the last reply i will give to this topic. You always have to have the last word so go ahead.

Stupid set ups bug me. That one does not look all that whack (probably just a bit of up to keep from sliding forward given the drop), but upward tilted bars / erect stems / giant stacks of spacers, generally point to a bike that does not fit... or a rider that should have purchased a hybrid.

Yes, because you're hyper anal-retentive and that makes you unable realize that being slightly off-level is probably a sign that the fit was actually tuned for the individual rider to *GASP!* actually ride, which, IMO, makes a bike hotter than one that was clearly set up with vanity as the primary driver.
