let me preemptively apologize for the chosen gear (it was at the top of a hill), and the crank angle.

primov8 04-14-13 12:01 PM

^^^ No need to apologize, the bike speaks for itself. HOT.

Dead Roman 04-14-13 12:02 PM

^^^^ hot. What a cool frame that is, love the 80's paint.

Dead Roman 04-14-13 12:07 PM

through what means does one acquire a frame such as that?

WhyFi 04-14-13 12:16 PM

Sweet bike. It's hard to see - is the painting around the ST/TT/seat stay area the actual lugs? If so, that's some nice workmanship.

Dead Roman 04-14-13 12:21 PM

after researching the builder and overlooking the price list I have come to the conclusion.....

that is one high dollar steel ride.

Leaning on garbage cans after 321 miles straight, during a RAAM qualifier.
That's a 56 ounce water bottle.

Its at-the-time first-place rider is off camera, asleep.
He did not wake up.
Nor did he want to.

Adrianinkc 04-14-13 12:41 PM

Thanks for the comments guys.

Dead Roman 04-14-13 12:58 PM

321 miles on a flat bar with one hand position seems...hard.

Ya, therefore the handcuffs I was wearing. Those weirded people out a little. It took 17 hours to pick them.

SpeshulEd 04-14-13 03:28 PM

Ha, more power to ya! My hands get antsy on just about anything though.

like the blue seatpost collar touch.

how are you liking the Prologo saddle? Strangely enough i hardly see them around, but they are used by quite a few pro teams.

Thanks. I really like the Prologo Scratch Saddles. I have them on a couple bikes now. Similar to a Fizik Aliante but a kinda different too.

Do you take your DSLR with you, that's some serious bokeh! I'm sure that's not a phone pic.

seanile 04-14-13 09:00 PM

Hot, Lovely and beautiful with a touch of class.

Dead Roman 04-14-13 09:45 PM

I like the combination of fillet brazing and lugs. All it needs is a tig joint in there somewhere.
