i havent ridden too many wheels and these are my first deep carbon wheels, so i dont feel that i have the experience to give a detailed review. to be concise, they handle great, hold speed really well, and sound like a jet plane. the weight is noticeable when accelerating and climbing, even at my 205 pound weight. i am waiting for the flo30's to come out so i can get a set for the Felt.

I agree, if you talking about in the city. I ride mostly in the south bay, Santa Cruz mtns and Hicks Rd quit often. I would rather spin up 6-10% then mash. Everyone does it different though.

Hey, the wheels are vintage Mavic Open 4 CDs laced to Dura Ace 7400 series hubs. The crank, chain, cassette, bottom bracket, front and rear derailleurs is also Dura Ace 7400 series and I scooped it all up including wheels for a song!! I couldn't say no.

Now now, I wouldn't do that. There was a nice natural light in that part and it was only for the picture.

I agree. Judging by the amount of seatpost showing maybe the bars have been rotated up because the reach feels too long.

Shorten up the stem and/or swap for shorter reach bars if that's the problem.

Saddle height is fine, I'm just stubborn and refuse to let go of my Cinelli 1A until I get one in 100mm. I do have a nice and polished Cinelli XA in 100mm and I'm afraid it will clash with the satin finish of the Cinelli 65 Criteriums. 39x28 in SF, the hills are very steep but short. Hicks Road on a hot summer day, Bohlman, Alba or Jamison Creek, that's a lot more difficult.

That's what I'm saying. I'm sure the saddle height is fine. The reach relative to the saddle height is what made me think it was probably too long.

Also, the bar/lever situation on that Pinarello terrible. You can't get a flat ramp with bars like that without scooting the hoods way up and rotating the bars back until everything looks ridiculous and the drops are unusable.

This. I could live with drops pointing somewhere toward rear brake, but right now the bar is definitely too far up.

Also, would prefer silver rims. Still a lovely bike though.

David how do you like that Flite Gel Flow saddle on the Marinoni? I'm testing one out right now. Bit hard, but didn't have any pain after my ride yesterday.

I love the modern Flites. The one on the Marinoni is Team Edition without cutouts or gel and its still great. The Flite is great for people with narrow sit bones. I have this saddle on my winter bike and Kona JTS. I tried the Turbomatic 2, Concor Supercorsa and even a Brooks Swift before figuring out that my sit bones dislike wide saddles unless I'm in a more upright position.
