They converted to 26mm in the 90s so there are some out there with both clamp sizes.

Ah, hadn't realised that.

Boy! Are you going to be in trouble! "Posing" the bicycle is very important! Accessories can be troublesome, too!
Nice background though!
Nice bicycle, too!

As it sets not hot.

Now, turn it around, take the saddle bag off, take the aero bars off, big ring front, small ring back and it may have a chance.

For the di2 cables, they should be run on the drive side so that they are hidden better.

Whoa! There's a lot going on in that photo: SS Pinarello with cantilever brakes, Vintage MTE setback seat post, old school top tube stickers.

I can feel the sand and salt in my teeth. Hot!

H+Son Archetypes with HED Belgium stickers? Hot I guess.

its PS. obviously. I'm trying to get an idea of which color hub to go with.

I don't like the gold. It feels overpowering. How about black hubs and silver spokes or all black with gold nipples?

silver....with silver spokes...classic

WhyFi 03-18-13 05:41 PM

If the above are the two options (without getting in to spokes/nipples variations), I'd go with the gold.

garysol1 03-18-13 05:44 PM

Did you try pewter? I may also second the silver/polished option....

bianchi10 03-18-13 05:54 PM

I did try the pewter, but I saw a pewter Chris king hub in person and it has a very small tint of purple to it which i didn't like.

garysol1 03-18-13 05:59 PM

I like the gold then IF you had some other small gold bits on the bike such as cable ends and maybe a top cap.....etc....

bianchi10 03-18-13 06:11 PM

Yeah, I think with everything else being black or white having gold hubs really draws your focus to them. Probably going black. thanks for the help fellas. I got what I needed. Dont want to derail this anymore than I have. thanks guys.
