MY two submissions:
'08 Cannondale Six 13 and '07 IF Titanium Crown Jewel http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps82f88ee0.jpg http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/x...psde1dbda3.jpg And I ride this one as much as anything else, a German "house brand" Columbus SL tubed bike with Super/Nuovo Record group. The workmanship and brazing on the frame is superb, it was likely outsourced to an Italian frame builder. Paid $150 for it to a British Soldier who had no idea what he had, was using it as a beater bike. http://i744.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps6e820476.jpg |
Eh, what the hell, I'll throw this in here as well

^^With a more attractive stem, and no red tyres, that might be a hot. Saddle slammed back on the rails is also a little odd, but I guess that's just long femurs.

Cleaned up the old beater yesterday, and put my Spinergys on it. Rode it today on a windy 40miles. I like the look of the -17 stem a lot better since it has a horizontal top tube.

Like I said before , no love at all. Well back to lurking status. But before I go, the origanal fork is leaning against the wall behind the Black bike . It was so stiff that I changed it out. And sent that out with the frame to get repainted since I had a young daughter who found a sharpie and decided to decorate it. the origanal color was yellow and naked. The Frame will jar out your teeth, it is as I said before a prototype as shown on the frame. it does not have a forgiving strand of carbon on it. when you get off it you want to throw it! Then you look at your results on your Garmin and wipe it off and kiss it! So back to gawking and leaving judging and riducule to the experts.
Personally I like your black bike, but the Ferrari sticker has to go. I find your red bike to be very Italian flair which is cool to, just not my thing. Remove both the Ferrari symbols and I would say hot to both, even though I'm not a fan of the red bike. |

justfitme,
It has flavor. Maybe a carbon seatpost and stem. Line up the tire labels with the valve stems. For a really nice touch, use yellow swiss stop pads and yellow cable crimps. If you like it, ride with it. :speedy: Cheers, Rick in Tennessee |

Has nothing to do with traditional thoughts around here towards trek, I just dont like that Trek at all. I have seen a handful of treks that I like, this is not one of them. A trek has to be set up very aggressive to give it a chance for me.
Sorry, saddle bag, huge stack, no saddle to bar drop, angle of the bars, colored cables....Not |
good points...
it is a tube, should of took it off along with garmin for photo |
